Quick summary

Information we collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Contact information you provide — when you submit a lead form, sign up for a newsletter, or otherwise contact us, we collect the information you supply, which typically includes your name, email address, phone number, company name, project address, and a description of your project.
- Communications — emails, voicemails, call recordings, transcripts, and any other communications between you and Axis. See AI voice agent and call recording below.
- Automatically collected information — when you visit the Site, our servers and analytics providers may automatically receive certain technical information about your visit, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, the pages you visit on the Site, and the date and time of your visit.
- Cookies and similar technologies — see Cookies and analytics.
We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information (such as government ID numbers, precise geolocation, financial account numbers, or health information) through this Site. If you choose to share that type of information with us in the course of a service engagement, it is handled under the separate written agreement that governs that engagement, not under this Privacy Policy.
How we use information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to your inquiries, qualify your interest, schedule consultations, and provide quotes.
- Deliver services and communicate with you about active projects.
- Send you newsletters and marketing communications, if you have opted in. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link.
- Operate, maintain, and improve the Site and our services.
- Monitor and improve the performance of our AI voice agent and qualification workflow.
- Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, security incidents, and other unlawful activity.
- Comply with applicable law, respond to subpoenas and lawful government requests, and enforce our agreements.
Service providers and sub-processors
We use a small set of trusted third-party service providers to operate the Site and respond to your inquiries. Each provider is bound by its own privacy policy and, where applicable, a data processing agreement with us. Our current service providers are:

- GoHighLevel — customer relationship management (CRM) and lead-form routing. See GoHighLevel's privacy policy.
- Retell AI — AI-powered voice agent that may answer inbound calls and place outbound qualification calls on our behalf. See AI voice agent and call recording below.
- Vercel — Site hosting, edge functions, and form delivery infrastructure. See Vercel's privacy policy.
- Resend — transactional email delivery, including newsletter delivery. See Resend's privacy policy.
We do not authorize any of these providers to sell your personal information or use it for their own independent advertising purposes.
AI voice agent and call recording
When you call our main business line at 239-997-2947, your call may be answered or assisted by an AI voice agent powered by Retell AI. The voice agent may qualify your inquiry, schedule an appointment, route your call to a human team member, or filter inquiries that are not relevant to our services.
Calls handled by our voice agent are recorded and transcribed. Florida is a two-party consent state for the recording of wire and oral communications under Fla. Stat. § 934.03. At the beginning of each call, the voice agent will inform you that the call may be recorded. By continuing the call after that disclosure, you consent to recording. If you do not consent to being recorded, you may end the call at any time and request a callback from a human team member by emailing customersupport@axisconnectedtech.com. We will provide a non-recorded callback at your request.
Submitting a lead form on this Site may trigger an automated outbound qualification call from our voice agent, typically within thirty (30) seconds of submission. By submitting the form, you consent to receive that call at the phone number you provided. See Lead form routing and qualification calls.
Call recordings and transcripts are retained for ninety (90) days, then deleted from our active systems. We do not authorize Retell AI to use recordings or transcripts of your call to train Retell AI's underlying models.
Lead form routing and qualification calls
When you submit a lead form on this Site, the information you provide is transmitted to GoHighLevel, our CRM, and from there is routed to:
- Our internal sales inbox at sales@axisconnectedtech.com
- Our company leadership, for review and follow-up assignment
Submitting the form also triggers an automated qualification call from our AI voice agent (see AI voice agent and call recording) to the phone number you provided, typically within thirty (30) seconds of submission. Standard message and data rates may apply for any text messages we send. Consent to receive the automated call is not a condition of any future purchase, and you may opt out of further contact at any time by:
- Replying STOP to any text message we send
- Clicking "unsubscribe" in any marketing email we send
- Contacting customersupport@axisconnectedtech.com to request that we stop contacting you
Data retention
We retain personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, or as required or permitted by law. Our current retention windows are:
- Active customers and open opportunities — for the duration of our business relationship plus seven (7) years from the end of the relationship, to support warranty claims, tax records, and potential legal claims.
- Inquiries that do not progress to a customer relationship — twenty-four (24) months from the date of last contact, then purged from our active systems.
- Voice agent recordings and transcripts — ninety (90) days from the date of the call, then deleted from our active systems.
- Newsletter mailing list — until you unsubscribe.
Some information may be retained in backup, archival, or audit logs for longer periods as required by law or our standard backup policies. We will not actively use such information for any purpose other than restoring systems or complying with legal obligations.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have specific rights under state privacy law. Even when not strictly required by statute, we apply the rights described below to any U.S. resident's personal information on request, subject to identity verification.
Florida residents
Under the Florida Digital Bill of Rights (FDBR), you may have rights to access, delete, correct, and obtain a portable copy of personal data we hold about you, and to opt out of certain processing activities including targeted advertising, the sale of personal data, and profiling for decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects. Axis Connected Technologies does not sell your personal data and does not engage in cross-context behavioral advertising. California residents
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act / California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA), you have the right to:
- Know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose.
- Request deletion or correction of your personal information.
- Opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information.
- Limit the use of sensitive personal information.
- Not receive discriminatory treatment for exercising your rights.
We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA, and we do not knowingly process the personal information of consumers under 16 for sale or sharing. Texas residents
Under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (TDPSA), you have rights to access, delete, correct, and obtain a portable copy of personal data we hold about you, and to opt out of targeted advertising, the sale of personal data, and profiling for decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects. Axis Connected Technologies does not sell your personal data as defined under TDPSA, and we do not process sensitive personal data through this Site. Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, and Utah residents
Under the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act, the Colorado Privacy Act, the Connecticut Data Privacy Act, and the Utah Consumer Privacy Act, you have rights similar to those described above — including access, deletion, correction (where applicable), portability, and opting out of targeted advertising, the sale of personal data, and certain profiling. How to make a request
To exercise any of the rights described above, email customersupport@axisconnectedtech.com with subject line "Privacy Rights Request" and identify which right you are exercising. We will verify your identity before responding to ensure we are providing information to the correct person. We aim to respond within forty-five (45) days. If your request is complex, we may extend this period as permitted by applicable law and will notify you of any extension.
You also have the right to appeal a denial of your request. To file an appeal, email customersupport@axisconnectedtech.com with subject line "Privacy Rights Appeal" and we will respond to your appeal within sixty (60) days. If your appeal is denied, you may contact your state attorney general's office to file a complaint.
Children's privacy
The Site is not directed to children under 13 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The minimum age to use this Site or submit a form is 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child under 13 has provided personal information to us through the Site, please contact customersupport@axisconnectedtech.com and we will delete that information from our active systems.
Security
We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These include encrypted transport (TLS) for data submitted through the Site, reputable hosting and infrastructure providers, and access controls on our internal systems and CRM.
No method of transmission over the internet and no method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we work to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. The Site may contain links to third-party websites, including our technology partners and manufacturer pages (such as QSYS, Ubiquiti, DIRECTV, Elan, and Nice).
